The IN MOTU Historical Line combines historically inspired weapons with the requirements of modern historical fencing.

Many models are based on historical originals from the 19th century and adopt their characteristic hilt shapes. Depending on the model, historically inspired components or designs developed specifically for IN MOTU are used. Combined with modern spring steel blades, these result in safe and durable training weapons that blend historical aesthetics with contemporary functionality.

Instead of historical replicas, weapons are created that convey the character of their models and are simultaneously designed for regular use.

Research meets practice

The selection of historical models is based on the study of original historical weapons and European fencing sources. At the same time, many years of practical experience as a fencing master, trainer, and active HEMA competitor are incorporated into the development and selection of the weapons.

This creates a product line for all those who not only want to look at historical weapons, but also train with them, fence with them and experience history firsthand.
