The swords are made of nylon by Black Fencer exclusively for IN MOTU, making them extremely durable and robust. They also flex when thrust, allowing them to be used in combat and competitions even with appropriate protective gear.
Important: To maximize the lifespan of your sword, we recommend storing it in a dry, flat place (or hanging it up). High temperatures, humidity, or constant weight pressure can cause the blade to bend or deform.
