This foam and rubber saber, or dussack, was specifically designed and manufactured for adult training with a high level of safety. The saber is used in historical fencing as well as other martial arts, such as Escrima.
The saber has an oval handle, giving a realistic feel for the blade's edges. Furthermore, the blade is not round but flat/square, so you still get a feel for the edges.
With these sabers/dussacks, adults can safely gain their first experience in practice fights and many forms of combat, as well as conduct advanced exercises, fights, or even competitions. With the addition of a fencing mask, even combats and competitions can be held.
